Coming off big losses to Lake Albert and Wagga City, Colts tackle their third top three side in succession as they look to work their way back into a finals position.
The 162-run loss to the Cats saw Keenan Hanigan’s side drop to fifth and he’s hoping a couple of reinforcements can boost their chances against South Wagga at Robertson Oval.
“The last two games have been very disappointing on our behalf,” Hanigan said.
“We just can’t seem to put a full game together at the moment.
“I feel that we’re not doing a lot wrong with our bowling and fielding, it’s just our batting that is letting us down.”
Andrew Dutton comes back into the side for the first time this season.
Dutton is unlikely to bowl but Hanigan is confident his and Daniel Perri’s return will bolster a batting line up that has been so reliant on Dave Bolton this season.
“Especially with Dutto’s experience, even though his shoulder isn’t 100 per cent, he’s able to bat and strengths our batting up a bit more,” Hanigan said.
“And (Perri) has been opening the batting for us all year, doing a really good job with Dave and it’s good to see him back.”
