In Wagga CBD right now, a storm is brewing. Thunder and lightning are on the way, moving south-east towards Tarcutta.
With only 8mm maximum on the horizon, it is likely the storm will move on quickly after delivering little.
Yesterday provided a slender 1mm over Wagga, primarily earlier in the working day.
Fortunately, while the rain sets in the heat dissipates.
Parts of the city came to a humid 39-degrees yesterday, but Tuesday is expected to reach to 35-degrees. A veritable chill compared to the weeks that have gone by.
There is a mild storm warning current for Wagga and the Riverina. Most likely to hit in the late afternoon, it is not expected to have much impact or last too long.

Bureau of Metereology data is oscillating severity for the end of the working week. Wagga could see up to 80mm fall in one day, or it could be as little as 15mm.
Either way, following the dry season that has gone through, rain in the double digits is something of a novelty.
With three days still to go, and the forecast likely to change it is a matter of watching this space. But at this stage a severe weather warning is still current for Friday.
