Junee’s recent struggles in the Pascoe Cup and Gardiner Shield competitions were put under the spotlight following their wooden spoon season but Hill says there’s enough talent to make changes this year.
“It seems like the club’s had a few good players and a good bunch of core guys there but they’ve just had a bit of turmoil,” Hill said.
“But that’s in the past and what I want to do is build a good family orientated club where we can teach guys the right skills.”

He’s wasted little time getting stuck into his new role with pre-season training well underway at Burns Park and inclusion is the order of the day.
“We’ve already been training for about three or four weeks now and we’re getting some decent numbers which is good,” Hill said.
“I just want to encourage people to come along and give it a go.
“I don’t really care about what the level or standard is, I’d rather have reliable people who really enjoy the club atmosphere and who are fair dinkum about turning up for their club and training the right way.”
