The Ladbrokes Info Hub Mixed Final (320m) was set to be the feature of the nine-race card starting at 7.23pm before the Greyhound Welfare Integrity Commission stepped in.
With concerns over dogs travelling in the heat the meeting was abandoned.
Wagga had a feature races transferred when their December 28 meeting was called off due to the excessive heat but a new date for the meeting was unable to be found.
Prizemoney for the $1300 to the winner final has been split across the eight greyhounds who qualified in the heats on Sunday.
Wagga racing manager John Patton said the club looked at putting the races back to a later timeslot on Friday or racing on another date but neither option was deemed suitable.
Wagga next races on February 15.
