Pool manager Troy Lee said weekend heatwave conditions had not kept people away and patrons had been enjoying a variety of attractions from the water slide to koala spotting.
“We have had good crowd numbers with the heat; it hasn’t stopped people coming to the pool,” he said.
“People get in early or get in late but we have had steady numbers with the heatwave.
“We get a lot of groups of families organising themselves to come here, some are or five families and up to 20 people from Wagga and Junee who meet up here.”
Mr Lee said he did not have a breakdown between the numbers of Narrandera residents and visitors from outside the area at the pool but a lot of people had been staying overnight.
“The water slides, the barbecues, everything has been popular,” he said.
“We definitely expect demand to keep going as the weekend coming is supposed to be 39 or 40 degrees.”
