Commencing at 9.30am, 137 students from the Faculty of Arts and Education graduated in front of their support teams, including their parents, guardians and friends.
Kooringal High School’s principal Norman Meader was invited to speak to the graduates by CSU’s vice-chancellor Professor Andrew Vann.
Mr Meader encouraged them to follow their passions and beliefs into their journey beyond university.
“The more we grow, the wider our vision and wisdom become,” Mr Meader said.
“As you graduate today, you are all building the view of what is on the horizon and on your own personal horizon, shaped by your own expectations, beliefs and values.
“If we truly understand what’s important to us, we can invite a whole lot of choices onto our horizons and navigate them based on what will resonate with us the most.”
