Mainly Music team member Michelle Grant said letting little ones get creative with crafts is a good way to keep them occupied.
“I like Christmas and I love making decorations,” she said.
“I like the family aspect of it and celebrating at church.”
“You don’t need to buy supplies new you can recycle cereal boxes for cardboard and use old phone books as glue pad to prevent mess.”
Mrs Grant said when assisting children in making arts and crafts it is important to let them have creative control.
“It doesn’t matter what colour they use or where they glue things as long as they’re making choices,” she said.
A Kids Christmas Craft Morning will be hosted at St Alban’s church in Kooringal on December 13 for young families in the area. If interested, contact Jess Mannion on 0430 153 141.
