In a surprising turn of events, MJR Electrics were knocked out of the running by Rock Solid Gear Wizards and won’t feature in the top four playoffs, ending their hopes of a premiership treble.
Instead, last year’s beaten grand finalists – The Casuals – will head into the knockouts with a full head of steam and a double chance.
The Casuals went through their season undefeated and will take on Quolls in next week’s major semi final for a place in the decider while Advanced Communications Cobras and Wizards are set for a minor semi final clash.

In the women’s competition, Young Guns and AKW Jets have a safety net after finishing first and second respectively and will come together in the major semi final.
Mark Wade’s side finished the season with their unbeaten record intact despite a late scare from Don Tuckwell’s Audio and will be favourites to clinch their first title.
Having failed to record a win over Young Guns this season, reigning champions Jets could conceivably bomb out of the finals in straight sets after last week’s loss to Farmers Home Hotel.
Farmers and Tuckies will duke it out in what shapes to be an entertaining minor semi final after both sides enjoyed a late resurgence.
