Wagga Wagga Takes 2 committee chairperson, Narelle Potts said celebrities and mentors have been paired and now the rehearsals begin.
“The cast is John Patton, Will Mitchell, Tracey Lloyd, Steve Mullins, Trudi Thomson, Aleacha Potts, Dane McGuirk, Rebecca Deveraux, John Nixon, Amber Nevin, Peter Knobel and Scott Gerhardy,” she said.
“We also have two new mentors – Phoebe Pinnock and Dionne Crooke.”
Ms Potts said the charity variety show will hit the stage for the 13th year in 2019.
“It’s a great way to support local causes, it’s a little bit different, a quality show and a good time out,” she said.
“Now the celebrities have been paired up and they’re off to choose what they will sing and commence their preparation for the performance.
“The chosen charities are using our name to promote any fundraiser events between now and April.”
Ms Potts said the whole idea started as a backyard conversation and grown from there.
“Wagga is incredibly generous and we ask them to get behind us again,” she said.
