At about 11.30pm on Sunday, Turvey Park Fire and Rescue NSW were called to reports of a silver Holden sedan on fire in Ashmont.
The station dispatched one crew to the incident on Bardia Street where they found the vehicle on the side of the road across from two Ashmont primary schools.
The firefighters took about 10 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The incident last night brings the number of car fires in Wagga this year to more than 90.
It comes after a car and B-double trailer were set alight yesterday morning in Gumly Gumly.
The trailer was carrying hay.
Police have been contacted for more information about the latest incident.
