A 34-year-old Temora man has been denied bail by a court after an alleged assault left another man with serious injuries.
Police were called to a house in Aurora Street about 5am on October 30 after receiving reports of a serious assault inside.
They established a crime scene while the victim was taken to Temora District Hospital and later transferred to Wagga Base for treatment.
Police attended multiple premises throughout Temora, but were not able to find the alleged offender that day.
However, the next day, police arrested the 34-year-old man in Griffith and charged him with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and detaining a person with intent to obtain advantage.
He was refused bail and is due to face Young Local Court on January 22.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
