The new year will bring a new musical director to Australian Army Band Kapooka, this means that the two concerts on Wednesday, November 21 will be last occasion that you’ll get to see Musical Director Major Lindsay Mee in action.

In addition to military and ceremonial roles, the band provides support to local and regional charitable organisations and communities in the Riverina: the Civic Theatre is incredibly proud to host regular concerts and this arrangement will continue in 2019.

The theatre’s relationship with Major Mee has been very pleasant, we respect him both for his musicianship and his positive support of the multiple community contributions provided by the band.  

He’s shown great imagination with themed performances and also special events.
