A woman felt the force of the law after being caught out for driving 80 kilometres per hour above the speed limit.

On Sunday night, Gundagai Highway Patrol was conducting stationary speed enforcement on the Hume Highway south of Gundagai.
At 7.32pm last Police observed a Honda Civic travelling well in excess of the 110 kilometres per hour signposted speed limit.
Police detected the motor vehicle on radar travelling at 191 kilometres per hour and stopped the vehicle.
The female driver, 30, from Bankstown allegedly stated the reason for her speed was “I'm just getting to my destination”.
The driver was issued with a $2435 infringement for exceeding the speed more than 45km/h and her licence suspended on the spot for a period of 6 months.
Police had the vehicle impounded for 3 months until February 2019.
