The 27-year-old male victim of a vicious assault in Tolland continues to be non-responsive, Wagga Police Detective Inspector Darren Cloake said.

“Medical staff have to conduct further tests and possibly operate on him again,” he said.
The incident on October 23 left the victim with a fractured skull and bleeding to his brain, requiring surgery at St George Hospital, Sydney.
Following the incident, officers from Riverina Police District and Southern Region Enforcement Squad established Strike Force Levien to investigate.
On October 24, two men alleged in the vicious assault were charged with various offences.
Police Detective Inspector Cloake said a number of other offenders were still being sought.
“Still just the two men charged at this stage, but police are still working on the information that there could be up to 10 people involved,” he said.
