The young TRAC team proved too strong for the three-time reigning champions at Jim Elphick Tennis Centre last week.
Taking a five-game lead after the singles, TRAC took advantage in the doubles to get their hands on the trophy.
With the majority of the team year 10 students, head of representative sport Ryan Robertson believes the team laid a good foundation for future success.
“Playing Mater Dei was very competitive and we met our match there,” Robertson said.
Billy De Bruyn and Leon Hemmings led the way as TRAC finished on 90 games to Mater Dei’s 73.
Wagga High School were third with 21.
The pair missed the school titles, claimed by Seth Vennell, but provided the side with plenty of experience.
