The White Ribbon Lake Walk on November 23 is part of the national movement to “help us break the silence on violence” to “build a future free from violence and abuse”.
The Wagga walk will start from Apex Park at 6.30am followed by a hot breakfast.
Entry is via gold-coin donations.
Patrick Edmunds, director of the Mount Austin Clontarf Academy, said the collaboration with the police was “all about developing respectful young men”.
“It’s making them good blokes and it helps them build positive relationships,” Mr Edmunds said.

“Clontarf and the local police school liaison officer, Troy Fisher, have been working on sessions with White Ribbon Australia that are strongly supported by our policies.”
It is the fourth year in which the Clontarf Academy has conducted the White Ribbon Walk in Wagga.
“I’d encourage anyone who’d like to go for a walk around the lake to turn up,” Mr Edmunds said.
“Wear a white shirt and enjoy a nice walk.”
Wagga Police Detective Sergeant Phil Malligan encouraged residents to attend.
“Local business houses, combined with the ADF have got behind the event, with a barbecue breakfast waiting at the finish of the walk,” he said.
“We would love to see as many of the Wagga community get on board to support the Clontarf Academy program, as well as support White Ribbon and help to end violence against women.”
