The reigning champions are yet to taste victory this season after falling to Quolls, Advanced Security Cobras and The Casuals before last week’s 5-all draw with Rock Solid Gear Wizards.
Argus knows there’s not much time to turn things around in a shortened season and is eager to see results.
“It’s been a bit of a tough start and we probably haven’t had the numbers needed in the first few weeks,’ Argus said.
“We’ve had a fair few blokes away and we lost Fred Lovell before the season as well, but that’s no excuse and we’ve got the experience we need to be winning.”
The Electrics will face stiff competition from second-placed Quolls but should be boosted by the addition of Nathan Rose and other returning stars.
“Quolls and Casuals have probably set themselves up as the teams to beat but things can change pretty quickly and it only takes a week to turn things around,” Argus said.
“We barely won in the back half of last year before winning the comp, so we’ll just try to go back to basics and get the job done.”
