Crossroads, which is part of the Noni B franchise group, closed its doors on October 25.
Sturt Mall management confirmed that the women’s clothing store Crossroads at the Sturt Mall has closed after its lease expired and it will not be returning.
Danielle Pascoe from the Wagga Business Chamber said she is “disappointed” to hear the news of another Wagga store closure and that there will be job losses.
“Wagga enjoys a stable economy however, there are factors that affect trade in our region that are influenced by macro trends which can have a negative impact on businesses in our community,” Mrs Pascoe said.
“There is also continual pressure on businesses to meet the demands of rising overheads such as electricity pricing, payrates and other expenses.
“Within any sector there are businesses that are thriving and some that are struggling to adapt and meet the ever changing demands of the market.”
This comes as a women’s boutique clothing shop opened yesterday on Baylis Street.
