Playing in the vital role of pitcher, Little recorded eight K-2s for the match and excelled with the bat, recording two safe hits.
In a hard-fought game, Turvey Park invited Saints to bat first despite winning the toss and cashed with a regulation ‘three up-three down’ keeping them scoreless.
Turvey responded in good fashion when safe hits to Jane Wadley, Kalee Gibbons and Little saw Wadley, Gibbons, Amanda Gooden and Belinda Dennis all score.
Neither team scored in their second turn at bat, but the Saints batted in four runs in the top of the third to tie up the score at 4-all.
Hits to Desi Calder and Rochelle Harley, coupled with some untidy fielding, gave them their four runs.
Spurred on by Saints drawing closer, Turvey batted in three runs in the bottom of the third to seize the lead yet again.
Gooden, Jade Olsen, Little and Georgina Carter all had safe outfield hits enabling the three runs.
Neither side could find a breakthrough in the fourth innings despite both teams loading their bases.
Further hits to Harley and Paula Potts saw Harley score for Saints in the top of the fifth but Turvey increased their lead in the sixth with a single, courtesy of safe hits to Charli McNaughton and Julie-Anne Hallam.
Needing to score three runs to make Turvey Park bat again, the Saints managed just two in their last innings to finish just behind 8-7.
Turvey Park must now back up for a showdown with South Wagga Warriors next weekend.
