Police received reports that on Thursday October 18, a man assaulted a female drover around the Old Junee and Junee Reefs precincts.
Junee Police Inspector Rob Vergano said the man was driving a white vehicle and approached the drover on a road before assaulting her.
“Detectives have obtained statements from the female involved, but we’re still seeking the offender,” Inspector Vergano said.
“The drover was assaulted by an unknown male.
“It seems there were no witnesses at the time [of the incident].”
The incident is believed to have occurred in the early evening, some time around 8pm.
