The WaggaRoos orienteerer finished with a third place in each of the sprint distance and long distance events. She also finished fifth in the middle distance event.
The sprint and middle distance events were held in the Renmark district. The sprint distance was held in a Renmark school, involving negotiating buildings, ovals and landscaped gardens. The middle distance was held in a bushy area along the Murray River that included numerous steep erosion gullies and soft loose sand in places.
The long distance event was held in the Adelaide Hills, near Gumeracha, in an area which included dense native forest with old gold mining areas, fast open pine forest, and bushy areas with rock features which meant a continual change of navigation tactics.
