The 29-year-old fronted Wagga Local Court for sentencing on Monday after pleading guilty to common assault and property damage.
Documents tendered to the court revealed she had been in a relationship with her boyfriend for about 16 months when she arrived at his Marrar home on a May afternoon.
When an argument broke out in the backyard, she shoved him in the shoulder, and he left.
A next door neighbour then reported seeing her take two bricks from a pile in the backyard and walk towards the house.
The neighbour yelled out “I hope you’re not going to throw them”; she assured him she was not going to.
Then, she went back to the house, picked up another brick, and threw it through the kitchen window, causing glass to scatter throughout the kitchen and the hallway.
She then picked up an ashtray and threw it through the laundry window, causing that to shatter as well.
On Monday, magistrate Christopher Halburd ordered the woman to pay $1650 in damages to cover the cost of her outburst.
He dismissed the common assault charge, however, noting it was only one shove with very little impact.
“It’s a push to the right shoulder blade as the person is walking away – it’s difficult to think of a less serious battering,” Mr Halburd said.
“The more serious matter is what you did afterwards in relation to the damage.”
She was also given a conditional release order, meaning she must be of good behaviour for the next 12 months.
