John Ernest Spinks, 78, was already awaiting trial for nine counts of indecently assaulting a former male student between 1975 and 1976 when the fresh charges were laid.
Mr Spinks pleaded not guilty to all nine counts in June, and a trial date of February 1, 2019 was set.
Then, in Wagga Local Court on Monday, prosecutors alleged Mr Spinks assaulted three additional men between 1973 and 1978.
Mr Spinks is accused of indecently assaulting one complainant on nine occasions, a second complainant on three occasions, and a third complainant on two occasions.
A total of four complainants have now come forward and alleged that Mr Spinks assaulted them in the 1970s.
The court previously heard that Mr Spinks was employed as an English teacher at Wagga High for about six or seven years in total.
Mr Spinks will return to Wagga Local Court on December 19 to enter his pleas.
