Despite the many stories about the mother and son's life sharing their abode with the spirits of the deceased, the pair have never celebrated Halloween inside the Monte Cristo.
This year from 6-10pm on October 31, the home will be open to trick or treat seekers.
“[They’ll] be greeted by all the ghostly spirits, some real some not. You’ll have to guess,” said Mr Ryan.
Prizes will be given out to those who manage to upstage the ghosts’ fright factor.
Extending beyond the night, since the beginning of October the restored Victorian manor has been given the ghoulish touch.
“Over the two weeks of school holidays hundreds of people come through the homestead and where surprised to be greeted by rooms full of spooky stuff like a dinning room full of skeletons dinning at the large table,” said Mr Ryan.
A huge spider crawling on top of the bookcase and even a vampire baby in a pram.
“We are not sure if the real spirits are happy about or these fake guests here at the house, but the kids love it.”
