Mina Savill, who runs Mina’s Dance Academy Wagga, has taught generations of pupils to dance for more than three decades.
“I have such a passion for dance,” she said.
“I am lucky to be doing something that I love so much.
“It’s amazing what someone can do with the human body.”
Ms Savill said highlights this week will include 300 participants and performances by reigning Australian New Vogue dance champions Wagga-born Monique Savill and Crawford Hill.
There will be solo and group competition sections in various types of dancing styles including ballroom, jazz, hip hop, ballet and latin.
The dance competitions will start at 9.30 am on Saturday.
The competition will be held at Mater Dei Primary School Hall, spectators can purchase tickets at the door.
