The Wanderers have been informed that they have been accepted by Capital Football to enter teams into the Canberra-based Women’s NPL (WNPL) competition for next season.
The Wanderers will look to enter under 13, under 15, under 17 and a senior team into the competition.
They have also been quick to appoint Gary Lyons as the Wanderers’ WNPL manager and are already calling for expressions of interest for players and coaches.
Expressions of interest close on October 4 with the club planning to run trials on October 18 and 25, before naming the teams the week after.
Players can register their interest here.
The NPL is a 21-round competition that gets underway in March and finishes in September. The Wanderers will play home games in Wagga and travel to Canberra for away games.
