Life in the Spotlight, is an all singing and all dancing variety show, SMRF manager and show director Angela Boutlon said.
“We perform anything from Rock of Ages to Phantom of the Opera,” she said.
“There is lots for all tastes at our variety show. ”
The 2018 production will be the seventh year, Ms Boulton said.
“We do different versions and we have a fantastic local cast,” she said.
”We have raised $150,000, at least, through the show.
“Our entire production team and cast volunteer their time and it has always been a major event.”
This year’s show promises not to disappoint and features hits from The Greatest Showman, Grease, Strictly Ballroom The Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Rock of Ages, Mamma Mia, Dirty Dancing and more.
“We started rehearsals in August,” Ms Boulton said.
“The cast are learning two routines a week, some joke it is the ‘spotlight diet’ because there is so much exercise.”
Cathy Wall, Michael Peacock and Leah Ellis lead the cast of 52 from across the Riverin
Tickets are on sale at The Civic Theatre, and Ms Boulton said Wagga should come out and support the local charity.
