The Bureau of Meteorology predicts temperatures will sit in the early 20s, with a maximum of 25 forecast for Tuesday, dropping to 19 on Wednesday and Thursday, and then increasing to 23 in time for the start of the spring carnival.
At this stage it will be mostly sunny at Saturday’s Aggies Races reaching 23 and dropping only two degrees on Sunday.
Along with the sunshine there will be light winds each day, but only a five per cent chance of rain this week.
The UV index is predicted to reach a moderate level, therefore it is time to bring out the sun protection.
