The senior Striker has featured on the lengthy list of casualties at O'Connor Park this year and missed the past month with an ankle complaint.
He’s no guarantee to take on traditional rivals Junee in their final game but Kemp is hopeful of recovering in time.
“I haven’t played for a few weeks now and it’s still pretty sore though I’m keen to try and play this weekend,” Kemp said.
“It’d be good to go out with a win and we’ve been pretty strong through a season with lots of injuries and the bare numbers for players.”
Kemp has been a reliable figure in attack for the Strikers with 13 goals over the past two seasons but says Cootamundra’s young crop of players have been pulling their weight in 2018.
“He’s been mentioned before but Scott Endacott has had his best season to date and other players like Connor Thornley and Max Cameron have been really good,” Kemp said.
“I think that given the injuries we’ve had, finishing in seventh place isn’t a bad result so we’re keen to get a win.”
