The Demons’ finished the home and away season with a 78-point win over Narrandera, 21.21 (147) to 10.9 (69) at Narrandera Sportsground.
Marc Geppert booted seven goals and Ed Perryman chimed in with four as the Demons ensured it was another winless season for the Eagles.
Gestier strained his hamstring late into the first quarter and never returned.
“It’s early days but it doesn’t feel good anyway,” Gestier said.
“I’ll be touch and go.”
Collingullie-GP also lost youngster Sam Macklan to an ankle injury.
Gestier was happy with the way the Demons played but said the focus was now on next Saturday’s qualifying final against Ganmain-Grong Grong-Matong.
Daniel Frawley, Ben Klemke and Brad McMillan were among those to enjoy big games for the Demons.
Isaac Williams was Narrandera’s best.
