The result was never in doubt although the margin might have been greater in better weather. The Jets kicked nearly twice as many behinds as goals in the first three quarters, on the way to a 12.17 (89) to 5.4 (34) win at Ardlethan.
It was only the fourth time this season they've kicked more than 10 goals.
Rogers kicked three and for the fourth week in a row was in their top couple of performers, reminding the Jets of what they were missing when he was out injured for the first half of the season.
Jack Fisher also continued his brilliant year while Ben Johnstone and Hayden Leary had strong games. Sam Robinson matched Rogers’ three goals.
Blues ruckman Brendan Hardy and utility Tom Morton were among their best while Brayden Scarr kicked two goals.
