The incident has added to a spate of truck collisions across the Riverina this week.
Emergency services rushed to the site, south of Jugiong, shortly after 8pm on Thursday, following reports two trucks had hit.
While it is fortunate no one was injured, a police spokeswoman confirmed one vehicle had rolled, and the trailer of another truck was on its side, in the middle of the dual carriageway.
Thursday’s incident comes after a 42-year-old man was flown to hospital in a serious condition on Wednesday night.
According to a NSW ambulance spokesman, the two-truck collision near Ariah Park had trapped the truckie in the cabin. He was treated for fractures and possible pelvic and chest injuries.
Earlier in the week, a truck driver was lucky to escape injury, after a single-vehicle crash halted traffic on the Olympic Highway, near The Rock.
