Preparation work on the site is already under way and includes the demolition of old hospital buildings to make way for a multi-storey building, which will house community care services.
While work on the $170 million stage is being done, aged care services, community care nursing and the wound clinic, palliative care, cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation and staff from South West Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service have relocated to temporary premises at 19-31 Peter Street.
