Rabici was expected to miss the back end of the Southern Inland season after breaking his arm playing for the Brumbies Provincial side in June.
However, there’s still hope of a comeback and Rabici hasn’t yet been ruled out as a shock addition for the Phantoms in their do-or-die clash with Tumut this weekend.
“We haven’t decided as of yet, but he’s getting it looked again at this week and he’s a chance to play,” Phantoms spokesperson Bart Challacombe said.
“It’d be great to have him in the side against Tumut and we’ll make an assessment as close to the game as possible.
“That being said, we’re still preparing as if we’re going to play without him on Saturday.”
The Phantoms are out of second chances after falling to Ag College 37-12 in their qualifying final last week.
