Hannam was reported for forceful front on contact on Temora’s Will Reinhold in Saturday’s Farrer League game at Victoria Park.
The conduct was graded as careless, the impact medium and the contact high.
Hannam could have taken a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea but has chosen to fight the charge at the AFL Riverina independent tribunal.
The hearing is expected to be held on Thursday night.
