Champion Australian horseman and adventurer Ed Fernon will be the guest speaker at the lunch on August 31 at Wagga RSL, with tickets sold through the Commercial Club.
Mr Fernon last year won the Mongolian Derby, the world’s toughest and longest horse race across 1000 kilometres of the Mongolian Steppes.
“Each year the event has sold out, and we’re expecting a full house of ‘blokes’ yet again,” BEBL Committee co-convenor Andrew Roberts said.
“We continue to have wonderful support from the RSL and platinum sponsors Apex, Wagga’s Prostate Support Group and Riverina Urology and from many other Wagga sponsors.”
“Fund raised will go to both local prostate nursing and world-leading research by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.”
