Renet fronted the AFL Riverina independent tribunal at Ganmain on Thursday night where he successfully cleared himself of any wrongdoing.
Renet was reported by two umpires for rough conduct where they alleged he performed a sling tackle on Leeton-Whitton’s Bailey Wood.
The tribunal found, based on the evidence provided, that the tackle did not consist of two motions and Wood’s injury was an accident when his head hit the ground.
It was a good result for Narrandera and Renet given the base sanction for the charge was a three-game suspension after it was graded as careless, high impact and high contact.
