Leeton striker Anthony Trifogli was the visitors’ chief destroyer, clinching another hat-trick up front while Carmelo Trifogli scored his side’s other goal.
The result condemned Junee to their ninth loss of the season but Leeton skipper Joey Fondecaro was nevertheless impressed with his opponents.
“We got the win and we didn’t play our greatest game but Junee were pretty tough,” Fondecaro said.
“It was good to get the three points in the end.”
Fondecaro wasn’t as impressed with his own team’s efforts.
“I just think the boys didn’t show up properly, to be honest,” he said.
“Having said that, we picked it up a bit and finished off well to get the win.”
In other games, Henwood Park got the best of Tumut in a hard-fought 3-0 affair at Bull Padock while Tolland downed Young 5-2.
More results to come.
