McPherson took a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea for striking Leeton-Whitton’s Matt Rainbird in Turvey Park’s loss to the Crows at Leeton Showground last Saturday.
The report was graded as intentional, low impact and high contact.
The base sanction was a two-game suspension but McPherson accepted a one-game suspension with an early guilty plea.
He was also yellow carded for the offence last Saturday.
McPherson will miss Turvey Park’s trip to Kindra Park on Sunday to take on Coolamon.
The game is a big one in the context of both club’s seasons. Both clubs have won three of their opening eight games but remain in the hunt for a finals berth as they trail fifth-placed Leeton-Whitton by just one game plus percentage.
Turvey Park won their previous meeting between the two clubs in round one.
