Triston Dickson, Eddie Jackson, Tyson McLachlan, James Whiteley and Troy Barby are all out for the game at Equex Centre on Saturday.
Dickson and McLachlan both have ankle injuries, Jackson (back) is out for the season, Barby is suspended while Whiteley is waiting to pass a concussion test.
After the loss to Junee and with four of their last six games away from home, Cuell believes the match will be crucial to their finals hopes.
They are currently a win outside the top four, with the Blues outside too but only on percentage.
“If we don’t win this week it is going to be super hard as we have a pretty tough draw,” Cuell said.
“We have a lot of away games after this week.”
After the Blues they have away games against Temora and Cootamundra before a clash with Southcity at Equex Centre.
Roos then hit the road again to tackle Young and Albury before facing Brothers for the first time in the last round of the season.
Cuell is looking for the team to play smarter football.
He thought they were their own worst enemy against Junee with poor completion and poor discipline and is looking to change that against the Blues.
