Pamela and Geoff Frost were the winners of the ‘Garden of the Season’ award.
“It was such a shock, but it was lovely,” Mrs Frost said.
“I love working in the garden, I can spend hours in there without noticing the time pass.”
When the Frosts moved in, there was no maintained garden and Mrs Frost said she got did it up slowly, doing a bit at a time.
Digby Foster, one of the winners of the ‘Street of the Season’ award said he was pleased to be on surrounded by like-minded people.
“My wife does a lot of the work on the garden,” he said.
“It’s rather nice to be recognised to be caring of my house and it’s good to see people take pride in their home’s appearance as well.”
