Heywood leads with 26 wins, with Miller on 25.
Leeton-based apprentice jockey Josh Richards and Canberra’s Kayla Nisbet have also been movers, joining Rebeka Prest in a share for third place on 22 wins.
The race will continue at Wagga on Sunday, where Heywood will not be riding due to a holiday.
Only seven race meetings remain in the SDRA for the season.
