The win was set up in the first quarter as Kooringal blasted 22 goals to Turvey Park’s six.
Kooringal shooters Lauren Cooper and Sophie Fawns piled on the goals, rarely missing and capitalising on the numerous opportunities they were given by their centre court Eliza Kelly and Bridie Willis.
Goal attack Morgan Watts for Turvey Park was outstanding scoring all but one of her team’s goals.
Kooringal defenders Phoebe Wallace and Lea Kerr played a good defensive game, turning the ball over many times.
Meanwhile the grand final rematch between New Kids Aces and Uranquinty lived up to its billing.
However this time Uranquinty were able to reverse the result to take a 62-56 win.
The defence was great from both teams supplemented with a solid centre court.
Rachael Addison was strong in attack for New Kids feeding into shooters Cloe Hildebrand and Flynn Hogg who shot consistently.
Uranquinty defenders Olivia Tilyard and Matilda Vearing worked the ball well down the court for Uranquinty and fed shooters Lana Duffy and Hannah Finemore who both shot accurately.
Grace Cornell and Georgia Tilyard worked hard all game providing much needed turnovers for Uranquinty.
In the third game of the round a strong last quarter saw Shooting Stars pull away from CSU Reddies to take a 45-35 victory.
The game began competitively with only one goal difference at the first quarter break.
Maddison McIntyre, Bridie Delahunty and Ruby Gillard worked hard in defence for Shooting Stars against CSU Reddies shooters Hannah Williams and Bonnie Keys.
Centre court for Shooting Stars of Hayley Stevens, Lucy McIntyre and Bridgett Dill was key in helping to increase the margin against the CSU Reddies.
CSU Reddies defenders Grace Smith, Sharlee Kerr and Rebekka Perry worked tirelessly against sharp shooters Erin Brown, Maddie Browning and Eliza Parker.
With the mid-season shake-up a decision was reached for the competition to start afresh.
It means after two rounds Uranqunity are a win clear.
New Kids Aces, Shooting Stars, Kooringal and Turvey Park have all had a win each while CSU Reddies are yet to taste success.
Reddies will be looking to change that against Turvey Park on Saturday while Shooting Stars tackle New Kids Aces and Kooringal tackles Uranquinty.
