Prestage produced best-on-ground performances in Wagga High’s two pool games to finish on six votes and claim a one-vote win in the prestigious award.
Prestage’s six-vote haul was enough to get him the win from Mater Dei Catholic College co-captain Jack Carey and Kooringal High School ruckman George Kendall.
Prestage impressed judges with his silky skills and booming left foot, playing on a wing for Wagga High. It was the second year in a row a Wagga High player has shared in the award after Sam McGowan tied last year.
Votes from the pool games and both semi-finals went towards the award.
FINAL LEADERBOARD
