Gundagai racehorse trainer and eventing tragic Jim Scobie has been hard at work to get the event off the ground and the response has been overwhelming.
The organising committee has been thrilled to receive entries from over 340 horses and riders.
Spectators will be treated to world class action with Tinney and Rose both bringing a large team of horses to ride at the competition.
”Jim Scobie was determined to get the Gundagai event up and running and is now proud to present a competition that really ensures the grass roots competitor can have a fabulous competition alongside Olympians,” Fiona Gruen said.
“Jim has been instrumental in the build and design for the entry level junior and senior riders and is thrilled by the high number of riders at the lower levels.”
Competition will be held all day on Saturday and Sunday at Gundagai Showground and Racecourse.
It will feature all three phases of eventing – dressage, show jumping and cross country.
Entry is free for spectators and a canteen will be in operation.
