Zotti shot a round of 79 at the NSW Open Regional Qualifying Tournament at Forbes Golf Club on Sunday.
It was enough to book him a place in the Men’s Senior Open at Thurgoona Golf and Country Club in October.
The top two scores of players aged over 50 won invitations. Zotti and Forbes’ Darryl McAuliffe both shot rounds of 79 to book their place in the field.
Young Golf Club’s Joel Shields finished fourth overall in the regional qualifying event with a score of 73.
More than 120 players hit the fairways at Forbes in a bid to win places in the NSW Open and Senior’s Open.
The qualifying series, which is now in it’s fourth year, offers an ideal opportunity for amateur golfers from across NSW and interstate to secure their place in the respective fields.
