The seven contestants spent the last four weeks brushing up on everything from dining etiquette and greetings to event management and speech writing.
Miss Wagga Quest committee chairman Larry Buete said the contestants will now start to become more and more involved in the local community.
“It’s the first public outing for our entrants – they’ve now completed their month of personal development, and it’s traditional that they do a public address on what Wagga means to them,” Mr Buete said.
“While there are a lot of nerves for Wednesday night’s speech, it really sets them up to go on and start organising events, make speeches, attend functions, and visit our beneficiaries.”
The contests will speak in front of 95 community members at Wednesday’s launch.
