The Wagga Little Athletics Club marked the end of another successful season recently, recognising its standout performers throughout the summer, as well as acknowledging the representative efforts of other athletes.

Cameron Walshe took out the senior boys championship, sisters Tatiana and Montana Hathaway won the senior and junior girls awards respectively, and Blake Charlton was named junior boys champion. He also took home an additional trophy for setting the most personal bests in the club.
Sixteen athletes also represented the club at state, after progressing through zone and regional championships.
Indiana Cooper picked up three bronze medals in long jump, discus and 800m.
Charlie Harper was fourth in the under 10s 400m. William Field, Georgia Hallam, Hunter Schultz, Jack Warden, Jacob Mills, Leyla Liakatos, and Kaelani Goolagong all enjoyed top eight finishes in events.
