Stone the Crows is a festival that brings together grey nomads and those that love to travel in a caravan, motorhome, or campervan.
One of the organisers of the event, Chrissy Eustace, promises a jam-packed program running from 8am to 10pm with activities ranging from ukulele and guitar tuition, bush poetry, seminars and talks.
An open day will also run on Monday, April 2 where anyone curious about life on the open road can learn about the Grey Nomad lifestyle. The day will start with the bush poet’s breakfast and go through until the Stoning the Crows, with market stalls to browse.
To celebrate its namesake, the festival will also host a knock-out festival of stoning the crows, where contestants aim to knock down an iron crow.
The festival runs from Friday, March 30 to Thursday, April 6. For more information go to: http://www.stonethecrows.com.au/index.html
