The 28-year-old man was arrested on Saturday morning during a vehicle stop for his alleged involvement in a break and enter at the Tourist Information Centre and Wagga’s Council Chambers in December last year.
Wagga police Chief Inspector Andrew Spliet said the vehicle was stopped during a patrol, with warrants out for the man’s arrest.
The man was charged with two counts of aggravated break and enter and bail refused by police.
Chief Inspector Spliet also said a number of people were charged with drink-driving offences this weekend, after police conducted 6,200 random breath tests across the Riverina.
